…where does your wood come from? Wood is an important building material and an increasingly popular source of energy. However, a statement about its origin is sometimes difficult or impossible. Against the background of progressing and difficult to control deforestation, there is a growing interest in knowing the origin of wood, so as not to contribute unintentionally to these processes.WOODSEAL
WOODSEAL is a labeling system by which the origin of wood can be identified. WOODSEAL increases the transparency of wood origin so that consumers and industry know where their wood comes from. The use of WOODSEAL makes it possible for industry and consumers to support a sustainable forest management.Traceability & Transparence
Customer-specific genetic information Each WOODSEAL product are marked with a customer-specific genetic information. Customer data like forest owner, site of application and others which are assigned to a WOODSEAL product will be entered into our database and made available to the public.Database query
Customers, distributors or end users do have the option to enter the WOODSEAL-number
on our website in order to determine the wood origin, manufacturer or the product origin.
And beyond… 5% of the net profit of each sold WOODSEAL-label is fed to a financial pool, by which DNAfor wants to establish an international afforestation program.Using WOODSEAL are a contribution to protect of our planet.

Label
Our WOODSEAL labels will be provided with an additional security seal on its back, which has an identical number, as the label on its front side.Security seals
Our security seals are used to mark wood trunk sections, intermediate products (deliveries of boards, wooden beams and others) or finished products. If required, we can adapt the WOODSEAL-numbers on security seals to the WOODSEAL-numbers of the original tree trunk, in order to enable a traceability of, for example, boards or wooden beams.Stamping colour
Our stamping colour are used for marking front sides of boards or wooden beams with the WOODSEAL-Number. This makes it possible to trace it back to the origin tree. Sawmills and further processing companies can also receive static WOODSEAL-numbers with customer-specific stamping colour.WOODSEAL application
